- throw the modem in and type ati7 to it and it will report to you
- which kind of modem it is. v.32bis or a v.34 sportster modem.
-
- the docs can be found in directory 7 (dl07) on ftp.usr.com or i think
- the www site www.usr.com
-
- if its a v.34 modem (or v.fc model) call us robotics and order the upgrade
- chip to get a more recent firmware chip. the firmware chips can be
- ordered on thier bbs at 1 708 982 5092
-
- reading those numbers i would not know if you had a 28 or a 14
-
- also type
- ati
- ati1
- ati2
- ati3
- ati4
- ati5
- ati6
- ati7
-
- will get u a complete readout just to be sure what kind of sprotster it is.
